In the most usual step, you may notice that the hair is somewhat depressed over time, to return to flesh simply brush the turf against the grain.

6. Accessories for synthetic grass. You can also buy silica sand, rubber granules, tights, etc.

7. Importance of silica sand. Is to stabilize the lawn when performing installations of synthetic turf on the floor directly, without using finishes that professionals usually use. Silica sand is one of these materials, although some think they are not needed, are important for a flawless result. There are sands of various colors that will help give a custom look and quality. There are two ways to stabilize the artificial turf, a weight increase by increasing the specific gravity of the lawn (more fiber per m2) something feasible but unprofitable, or add ballast by controlled media, siliceous sand, recycled rubber, encapsulated sand , tinted sand, etc. In gardening, sand only serves to increase the weight lawn, in the case of tinted sands, weight and quality. However, the quality of the substrate used in the ballast will determine the longevity of the turf. A round singing sand, dust free and quality ensures a long product life. By contrast an uncontrolled graded sand, sharp or contaminated produce clumping of the lawn and defibrillation of the ballast fibra. A good ballast substrate is equal to long lived artificial grass.

8. Artificial grass in terraces. The sand also often placed in terrace facilities. The sand is not going down the drain because you put a geotextile mesh between the terrace and sand. This grid allows drainage and prevents the sand leaves.

9. How long will artificial turf last? What is its lifetime? The minimum durability of synthetic turf is 10 years with proper installation and proper use. I love it, many do not like to play soccer on synthetic grass courts, but I think for gardens, terraces and playgrounds for children is pretty good, isn't it? What is your opinion? 1. Synthetic grass is used in residential areas, playgrounds and for sports turf. It is durable, lasting up to 10 years and easy to care for. However, even synthetic grass needs to be cleaned, particularly if pets are using it. Light, regular cleaning helps keep the larger cleaning tasks to a minimum. The frequency of bigger cleanings depends on how the grass is used. If pets are eliminating on the grass it will need to be sterilized more frequently.
